SEYAA Fall Outdoor Soccer Program Opening Day: September 11, 2010
Organization: Southeast was established in 1994. SEYAA is an all volunteer non-profit 501(c) iii youth organization serving children between the ages of 4-19. SEYAA recreates over 2500 children per year in various sporting activities. We are unique in that we operate on a year round basis. When one sport ends, another sport begins. We are now accepting registration for our Fall Soccer Program which begins September 11, 2010. All registered players will begin receiving phone calls around August 17th regarding uniform/schedule pick up and practices.
Ages
4-6 Co-ed soccer for 4 to 6 year olds is played on a scaled down soccer field. There are approximately 16 teams in this division. Games are played one week night and one Saturday game beginning September 11, 2010 and ening approximateley November 8, 2010. Registration fee is $65.00 which includes full soccer uniform (soccer jersey, shorts, socks and trophy). This division fills up quickly so mail your form in as soon as possible.
7-8 Co-ed soccer. More advanced instruction for players 7-8 years of age. Field
dimensions are still scaled down and more emphasis is placed on rules,
field of play. A referee is used at this age level and standings are kept. Games are
played on weeknight and one Saturayweek night and one Saturday game.
Cost of this division is $75.00 per child and includes a fll soccer uniform
(soccer jersey, shorts, socks and trophy).
9-10 Co-ed soccer for ages 9 and 10. Th 9-10 year olds move up to the regulation size field.
More advanced instruction and competitive at this age level. Games are played on
one weeknight nd one Satrday game. Fee is $75.00 per child and includes a full souniform
soccer uniform. (soccer jersey, shorts, socks and trophy).
11-13 Co-ed soccer for divisions 11-13 and 14-17. Soccer at this level is competitive. These
14-17 games are played on a reglation size field. There are standings and playoffs for this
division. $75.00 per child and includes a full soccer uniform
(soccer jersey, shorts, socks and trophy).
Register - to register, please complete the attached registration form and mail it together with your check made payable to SEYAA and mail to: P.O. Box 31432, Philadelphia, PA 19147. Please be sure to have your form and checks in by August 10, 2010 so we can be sure to call you for the practices beginning August 17, 2010. You can also e-mail your registration form to seyaasports@aol.com. It is important to have the form in so your child can be contacted for practices before the start of the season. Practices begin in mid-March and a scrimmage schedule is usually put together for the children to have real game practice experience before the beginning of the season. Therefore, it is important to have your forms in so your child's name will print on the roster when your coach tries to make contact for these practices/scrimmages. You can also register in person on thursdays throughout the summer. Next registration is Thursday, July 8, 2010 at SEYAA 7th & Bigler Streets. I/We, the parents and or guardian of the above named candidate for a position on a league team, hereby give my/our approval to participate in any and a' league activities. I/we assume all risks and hazards incidental to such participation, including transportation to and from all activities, and I/we do hereby waive, release, absolve, indemnify, and agree to hold harmless the S.E.Y.A.A. league, the chartering organization, field owners, the organizers, sponsors, board members, participants, and persons transporting my/our child to and from activities; for any claim arising out of an injury to my/our child, whether the result of negligence or from any other cause, -except to extent and in the amount covered by accident and liability insurance. I/We understand that the insurance carried by this league covers only the amount that is not paid by my/our carrier. I/We agree to return upon request the uniform and other equipment issued to my/our child in as good as condition as when issued except for normal wear and tear. I/We understand that alcoholic beverages, drugs, and anima' are not permitted inside any athletic facility of the association. I/We also understand that foul or abusive language will not be tolerated under any circumstance and persons using such language will be removed from the athletic facilities of the association. I/We understand that littering is not permitted and agree to use proper trash receptacles while inside the athletic facilities. I/We understand that unless all fees are paid my/our child will not be issued a uniform and will not be permitted to play for the activity.
